Trzy dystanse do wyboru:
➤ 1/4 IM (0,95 km pływania, 45 km jazdy na rowerze, 10,55 km biegu) – start w sobotę 2 września 2017 r.
➤ 1/2 IM (1,9 km pływania, 90 km jazdy na rowerze, 21,1 km biegu) – start w niedzielę 3 września 2017 r. – Mistrzostwa Polski na dystansie śrdenim!
➤ pełen dystans IM (3,8 km pływania, 180 km jazdy na rowerze, 42,2 km biegu) – start w niedzielę 3 września 2017 r.

Castle Triathlon Malbork Race Information
ABOUT THE COMPETITION: Malbork Castle Triathlon is a unique competition taking place at the foot of the medieval Teutonic Castle in Malbork, the largest red brick building in Europe.
The competition will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2017 and athletes can choose among the three available distances: IM, 1/2 IM and 1/4 IM.

ROUTE: During the Malbork Castle Triathlon participants can choose one of three distances: IM, 1/2 IM and 1/4 IM. The 1/4 IM race will take place during the first day od the event, on Saturday, September 2nd. The full IM and the 1/2 IM race will take place on Sunday, September 3rd, the second day of the event.
Swiming – at the distances of: 0.95 km, 1.9 km, 3.8 km (1, 2, 4 laps of 0.95 km). Expected water temperature in September in the Nogat river will range between 16°C and 20°C. The river is 2-3 meters deep. Starting from the water. Wetsuits allowed.
Cycling – at the distances of: 45 km, 90 km, 180 km (2 laps of 22.5 km – 1/4 IM; 3 and 6 laps of 30 km – 1/2 IM and full IM). Flat surface. Distances measured with GPS, with every kilometer marked. Helmet mandatory throughout the duration of the bike leg. All traffic will be suspended during the race. Drafting is not allowed, thus the participants can use both road and TT bikes.
Run – at the distances of: 10.55, 21.1 km and 42.2 km (2 laps of 5.275 km – 1/4 IM; 3 and 6 laps of 7km – 1/2 IM and full IM). The track goes through the streets, pavements and paths of the city of Malbork as well as within the Teutonic Castle Museum. Marking of lenght every 1km. Measurments of the track taken by GPS.
